Now you have your computer, internet, outlook then you need a contact program to
contact directly to your customers and please don't think that these steps aren't important, I assure you these simple steps will make you one of the professionals as there isn't a professional translator doesn't open his Outlook or skype program when he opens his computer, you have to be ready all the time, imagine that you have a store, you paid a lot of money on that store and when a customer comes to your store he finds it closed what will happen he simply will search for another one and you lose a customer...

1- So just install Skype program and you will find it easily on Google and sign in ...
2- I recommend using Firefox it's the best and after installing it, search Google for Firefox addons and search for Session manager and install it by pressing on add to firefox icon, this a very helpful tool that it will save your tabs and you can have for example 3 or more group of tabs instead of opening all your sites at the same time you can organize them with this tool.... open firefox and press at firefox icon from the upper left corner you will find a computer disk icon named session manager you can open all the sites you want to categorize and save them with a name and when you need these sites by one click you will have them all at the same time, no need to open site by site and load it from bookmark toolbar ....
2- If you have a facebook account make it perfect like ... identify yourself as a translator and search for translation agencies, add translators from all of the world try to know them well, join translation pages it will help you a lot, ask them whatever you want they will be glad to help you .....
3- Do the same for twitter, Google+,....try all social networking sites...as this is one of the marketing tools for yourself....
4- Then Sign up at translation sites like:
www.translatorscafe.com
www.proz.com
These two sites are the most important sites..
Sign up then write and configure your profile well as a professional translator then:
start to explore both sites and you will find a section for translation jobs, send your best C.V. to get more jobs...
in translatorscafe you will find a section for questions "TCTerms & How-To" there are some translators ask about terms they don't know, if you need to ask about any term you don't know how to translate, just ask and you will have a very qualified team answering your question and if you want to have a paid membership at this site it's so easy just answer questions with your best Translation and you will get points you can redeem these points for a free paid membership...
